I ... think it is absolutely fair to ask why someone would target a census worker (and sadly, a single father of two)? I have never heard of a Census worker being murdered before. I am sure it happens and has probably happened even in recent times, but I simply have never read or heard another instance of such a crime. So at the very least we can say it is a rare crime.
Okay. Right.And I think that it is also fair to question the role Rep. Michelle Bachmann [sic] (the psychotic, drooling, knuckle-dragger, ill-informed conspiracy theorist, birther and hater masquerading as a member of Congress) jihad against the Census Bureau had something to do with it.

A friend of mine was a census taker in 1990. She warned me away from working that as a possible job in 2000. She had some scary moments and felt threatened a couple of times. You couldn't pay me enough to do that job.

I read something interesting about this man's death. The FBI is puzzled because he was hanging so low - his knees actually were touching the ground. I don't know what it means, but atleast a thorough investigation is being done. We really can't jump to conclusions.

except he had his eyes, neck and hands duct taped. With his federal ID card duct taped to the side of this neck. Gagged and bound with a felt mark "FED" written across his chest.
Hype up the paranoia like Bachman does and people do jump to conclusions and kill people if they are psychotic....the paranoia feeds their fantasies...
A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti. Then I wrote "Fed" on his chest and hung him. Obama! Nihilism! Wooo!
According to http://www.odmp.org, 55 IRS Agents have died in the line of duty since 1919. This could have been a tragic case of mistaken identity.
Given this is an area where "moonshine", met labs and a number of illegal activities occur it would not surprise me that one of these criminal activities perpetrator left a warning for the FEDs. The rest of this conjecture is just that and in most cases is self serving drivel.
I'd bet there's not five people in Clay County that know who Michelle Bachman is, and if there are, the hillbillies that did this are not among them.
Oops I guess it was suicide. A retraction will no doubt be coming, and even an apology.
